Several weeks ago I was selected as the winner of the Bristol Brewing Company Smokebrush Porter label contest, for my illustration submission “Mandolin Moose meets Fiddle Fox”. A truly wonderful honor to be chosen out of the 47 submissions from so many talented local artists in our community. The celebration was a fun evening of music, connecting with other artists and friends, as well as the unveiling of the new Smokebrush Porter. Another fun honor of the evening was finding out I had also won the People’s Choice award for my work, which garnered me a free shirt and some tasty brew from Bristol (win win!) Of course I celebrated the win quite responsibly (as should anyone celebrating or kicking back a few after picking up a case of this years brew!)
